Know exactly what travels with the image

Private details are easier to handle when you can see them.

Location receives priority.

Coordinates can reveal a home, workplace or routine. They are surfaced before less sensitive camera and software fields.

Technical fields become plain language.

Findings are grouped by what they mean, not by the obscure tag name stored in the file.

No visual guessing.

AI-related labels come from embedded fields. The tool does not judge an image by how it looks.

From uncertainty to a file you can verify

See the evidence at every step.

The interface stays quiet until there is something useful to say, then exposes the exact finding, action and verification.

Privacy claims should be inspectable

Your image is processed on your device.

Image files and extracted metadata are processed on your device during normal tool use. They are not uploaded by the tools. Ordinary page and asset requests still reach our hosting/CDN infrastructure. See the data flow and testing scope.

Clear answers before you choose a file

Specific claims, without privacy theater.

Do my images leave my device?

The normal inspection and cleaning workflow processes image bytes and extracted values on your device. Ordinary page and asset requests still reach the website’s hosting/CDN infrastructure.

Does cleaning reduce image quality?

Supported cleaning operations copy the encoded image payload unchanged. MetaPurify hashes that payload before and after cleaning and reports the result.

Can this prove an image was made by AI?

No. It can report AI-related metadata when present, but missing metadata proves nothing about an image's origin.

Does the C2PA checker verify authenticity?

No. The official C2PA engine parses the manifest and reports validation status, but MetaPurify does not configure an external signer trust list and cannot establish whether the depicted scene is authentic.

Ready when your image is.

Inspect first. Share with confidence.
